LUCERNE — A co-ed basketball camp for boys and girls in the third through eighth grades opens Wednesday and runs through Friday at the Lucerne Castle outside courts.
Led by Mendocino College assistant men’s basketball coach Michael Escobedo, the camp will be divided into two sessions and space is limited. Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis and the cost is $60 per camper. Payment is due in full before the first camp session.
Boys and girls currently in the third through fifth grades will meet from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. each day of the camp. Boys and girls currently in the sixth through eighth grades meet from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day of the camp.
Each session needs a minimum of six players but has a maximum of only 11. COVID-19 protocols will be followed throughout the camp.
