
BUCKINGHAM — Four weeks into Twilight League play at Buckingham Golf and Country Club, the teams of Jamo & Coke Back, Carolina & Co., and the Buckingham Boys remain tied for first place in the eight-team standings.
All three leaders have amassed 80 points to share the top spot. The Young Guns and Fairway to Heaven are locked in a tie for fourth place with 70 points. They are followed by Legal Eagles with 60 points, and WAP and Duff Daddys with 45 points.
Closest-to-the-hole winners were Jeff Craig on No. 11, Billy Shaul on No. 14, and Kit Huston on No. 15.
The four-man team scramble on the back nine featured low rounds by the Jamo & Coke Back team of Peter Wotherspoon, Brian Bechtol, Bruce Forsythe and Jay Grabb, and the Buckingham Boys team of Shaul, Bob Jolin, Cory Barker and Jerry Pangle, both with 28.

In other recent Buckingham golf news, the Buckingham Tournament Players Club held a two-man best ball tournament.
The father-and-son team of Juan and Nathon Lopez fired the low gross round of 70 followed by the team of Witt and Ashley Mayhew with 73. In low net scoring, Shaul and Joe Delprete finished first with 60 while Jolin and Jesse Santana came in second with 64.
Other low gross rounds went to the teams of Wotherspoon-Tyler Drake with 75, Manny Mendoza-Mike Patterson with 80, Rick Easter-Todd Colbrandt with 80, Mason Smith-Shane Boehlert with 84, Leo O’Farrell-Rick Track with 91, and Jim Wright-Mel O’Meara with 98.
