With the triple-digit heat of last week giving way to more moderate temperatures in recent days, and with smoke from nearby wildfires dissIpating, Clear Lake’s recreational scene has steadily improved with vessels of all sorts venturing out onto the water for leisure-time activities.. A cooling trend and even the possibility of some light rainfall is in store for the weekend as more autumn-like conditions return to the area, according to the National Weather Service.
