LAKEPORT>>> A free drive-through flu clinic was held Saturday October 10, at the Heroes of Health event on the racetrack at Lake County Fairgrounds. Lake County Health officer Dr. Gary Pace stated last week that If most people get flu shots, the county will better weather the next few months. He added that most health professionals predict COVID infections will increase in the coming months, due to flu season, colder weather and indoor activities and urged residents to get their flu shot which he noted can be obtained through medical providers and many pharmacies.
