Unseasonably warm autumn weather has given Clear Lake that middle-of-summer feeling the past week as lake activity has picked up considerably in the Lakeport area. Pleasure boaters, bass fishermen, kayakers and jet skiers are taking advantage of the calm water and summer-like conditions even though the calendar is reaching into late October. The National Weather Service is calling for a decrease in temperatures as we enter the weekend. Unfortunately there’s still no rain in the forecast. (Photos by Brian Sumpter)
