Assistant coach Ed Fuchs, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, adapts to the COVID-19 situation at hand by substituting a disc for a football during the Lower Lake High School football team’s voluntary workout Thursday afternoon. It was a nice change of pace for the Trojans, who are still working hard with the hope that a season eventually happens. The earliest the first official practice can take place is sometime next month, depending on a number of coronavirus-related conditions. Until then, all they and the county’s other fall sports teams can do is continue to condition and run a variety of drills. If a season does take place beginning next month, it will likley be minus any type of playoffs given that winter and spring sports are scheduled to begin in mid-March. (Photos by Bob Minenna)
