Board member retires from service with Lake County Fire Protection District

His father, Frank Meisenbach, passed away in 2012 after 30 years of service

CLEARLAKE— Tom Meisenbach recently retired from service with the Lake County Fire Protection District Board after serving eight years. Meisenbach felt compelled to follow in his father’s footsteps in 2013 when he first joined the fire board. Frank Meisenbach passed away in 2012 after serving 30 years with both the Lower Lake Fire and Lake County Fire Protection District Boards. The elder Meisenbach was known throughout the south county where he dedicated 50 years to the citizens of Lake County serving on many committees and boards to the betterment of his community. After his passing, a fire engine was dedicated in his honor. Tom Meisenbach plans to spend retirement camping, fishing, crabbing and traveling to Wyoming to see his grandchildren.
