LAKEPORT— Hope, who is 7 years old, visited the Lakeport Police Department to interview Chief Brad Rasmussen regarding his duties in conjunction with a school research report she is doing on city government. Law enforcement officials said they were impressed with her level of work to learn about city government.
“This girl will be a leader in the future,” said the chief adding, “I’ve been interviewed by lots of college and high school students but this is the first 7-year-old who has interviewed me for a research report on city government and law enforcement!”Lak
