IONE — Kelseyville’s Tyler Bryant and Payton Lyndall, members of the Lake County High School Fishing Club, placed ninth out of 57 teams Sunday during a bass tournament at Lake Camanche.

The Bryant-Lyndall team brought a five-fish limit to the scales that weighed 12.03 pounds. It was their first top-10 finish of the 2021 season.

Despite a cold morning that eventually gave way to sunny and breezy conditions, the Bryant-Lyndall team had a limit in the boat almost right away and spent the rest of the day culling fish. They caught about 20 fish on the day, keeping the five heaviest.

“This was a big accomplishment for the anglers as this is their first time in the top 10,” said Deanna Goff, Lake County High School Fishing Club adviser. “With every tournament comes improvement. I am very proud of these anglers and our club for representing Lake County.”
