Catching a breeze and making the most of a beautiful spring day was this sailboat Monday afternoon on Clear Lake where temperatures climbed into the 80s and abundant sunshine stirred up recreational activity of all sorts. Bass boats will dominate the scene starting Wednesday when the WON BASS Clear Lake Open begins its three-day run. A field of 225 boats featuring professional and amateur fishermen from throughout the West will be competing for big cash prizes as well as a new bass boat for the winner in the pro division.
