LAKEPORT — Sierra Furia of Lakeport won the Limited Modifieds main event Saturday as the 2021 racing season opened at the Lakeport Speedway.
Joining the Limited Modifieds on the racing card were the jalopies, bandoleros, bombers and the pro jammers and junior jammers.
Modifieds
In addition to Furia’s victory in the main event, Roy Ingalls Jr. of Clearlake won the dash, Richard Knight was first in the heat race, and Furia was fast qualifier at 12.829 seconds.
Jalopies
Robert Portlock Jr.of Ukiah won the main event and Chris Hunt of Willits won the heat race.
Jammers (pro)
Donovan Arreguin of Windsor won the main event while Dave Rogers of Ukiah captured the dash. Arreguin set the fast time (14.661).
Jammers (Jr.)
TJ Sorrels of Ukiah scored a clean sweep, winning the feature and heat race while also setting the fast time (16.926).
Bandoleros
Travis Powers of Willits won the main event while Jordan Ray of Ukiah was first in the heat race and set the fast time (16.355).
Bombers (A)
Charley Tour of Potter Valley won the bombers A-main and Forrest Kuecker of Lakeport finished first in the dash. Heat wins went to Kuecker and Tour.
Loren Powers Jr. was the fast qualifier.
Bombers (B)
Audrey Portlock of Ukiah won the feature and heat race. She also set the fast time.
