LOWER LAKE— The vegetation fire Thursday at the 21000 block of Morgan Valley Road late Thursday was reported to be fairly slow in a relatively unpopulated area according to Sheriff Brian Martin, which he said presented minimal concerns about the fire threatening homes in the area. Record-Bee photographer Bob Minenna captured these images from Thursday’s incident. At press time Friday, the Lower Lake fire dubbed “The Sky Fire” was at 65 acres and 75 percent contained.
