There’s never a boring moment at Lakeport’s Library Park once the warm weather arrives in force and there has been plenty of that in recent weeks, a boon for man and beast alike. Of course, keeping everyone in line can be a bit of a task as this momma duck discovered recently while trying to keep her nine ducklings all pointed in the same direction at the same time, which she eventually did after a couple of false starts. The warm weather certainly brings out the fun-seekers and the fishermen as well. More warm weather is forecast for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. (Photos by Brian Sumpter)
