LOWER LAKE—Firefighters battled a quarter acre wildland fire on Noble Ranch Rd. off of Spruce grove Rd in Lower Lake Thursday evening proving that the 2021 fire season is underway with fuels on the ground threatening potential future fires. Cal Fire Helicopter 104 made many water drops on the fire while 104’s crew was on the ground putting out the fire with the help of property owners. Air Tanker No.86 was also in the sky circling above the fire along with a spotter plane. Tanker 86 did not make any drops on the fire. Two hand crews along with LCFPD were also on hand.
