LOWER LAKE— The Lake County Cannabis Alliance (LCCA) announced this week the first countywide cannabis job fair to connect emerging cannabis businesses and prospective employees. If you are a cannabis employer looking for workers, or a current/prospective industry employee, you are welcome to join in this outdoor employment networking event.

According to the LCCA, This will be Lake County’s first ever cannabis job fair and organizers said they want the resident’s support in sharing the event with the community. They added that “Lake County is seeing exponential growth in the legal cannabis industry and that this is an exciting time to be in the industry (to be a part of it).”  If you are a LCCA member, vendor or brand (company), you are asked to please get in touch to reserve your table at info@lakecannabis.com. While attendance to this event is free, organizers noted that spaces are limited so prospective participants are encouraged to reserve their spot ASAP. Please note that this event is also limited to 100 people at a time. Participants are asked to bring their mask as COVID protocols will be enforced.

The association also notes that If you are a prospective applicant looking for employment in cultivation, production, distribution, sales, manufacturers or ancillary business, please send your contact information and resume to staffcan@norcaljobs.com to RSVP.

The LCCA is offering:

– Tables for vendors and brands (cannabis companies and auxiliary companies) to meet and greet with prospective employees

– Vendors/Brands will receive a packet including resources needed to make hiring easy and effective for their company. (An event packet for each booth including resources needed to make hiring easy and effective for their company).

– Complimentary barbecue lunch

Location: Lower Lake Park, 16375 2nd St, Lower Lake, CA 95457

Time: Saturday June 5 2021, 12 pm to 3 pm

There will be cannabis companies and businesses looking to hire all types of positions including:

Accountant/ Bookkeeping, Administrator/ Executive Assistant, Budtenders/ Retail, Cultivators/ Farm/ Garden Labor, Delivery Drivers, Extraction Techs, Master Growers, Management, Sales/ Marketing, METRC positions, Lab Techs, Security and Trimmers

There will be opportunities to be hired for full time, part time, independent contractors, seasonal and remote work. Positions to be filled will be located in Lake County.
