LAKE COUNTY— It is graduation season in Lake County. June has traditionally been the month for “dads and grads” but the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to in person graduation ceremonies a year ago. This year, with vaccinations administered and with COVID cases trending down, the state of California gave the go-ahead with in person graduation ceremonies, albeit with COVID restrictions and precautions. Here are some images from recent graduation ceremonies courtesy of Trett Bishop and the Upper Lake Unified School District. The Record-Bee will be presenting images of the various ceremonies throughout the county this month. WC Carle High in Lower Lake is having their ceremony tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Konocti Education Center’s ceremony will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. Lower Lake High School’s ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. Middletown High School’s ceremony is also scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. Kelseyville High School’s graduation will occur on June 18 at 8 p.m. Check with the various schools about restrictions and rules regarding attendance.
