LAKE COUNTY— Fire fighters were on the scene responding to a wildland fire in Kelseyville at 5th Street across Church Street. Per LNU Fire Scanner Saturday, it was toned out at 3:08 pm and said to be a fully involved structure with 3/4 acres of vegetation. Per scanner, it was later updated to multiple structures being threatened and reports from fire fighters battling the fire detailed three structures were destroyed by the blaze by the time it was snuffed out. The fire started one block west of Main Street, evacuations were called for but residents were able to return to the area the same day. Another fire was concurrently burning across the street from Hillside Honda in Lakeport, units were dispatched and crews achieved containment that same day. Photographs by Coral Pratt.
