LAKEPORT>>> Most youngsters have played at being cowboys and cowgirls as they were growing up. During the 91st annual Lake County Rodeo this weekend, 10 contestants got a chance to do just that. The rodeo was interrupted last year due to the COVID pandemic, as were most in person events, but it made its return to the Lake County Fairgrounds this past weekend. Boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 8 years old, had the thrill of their life seeing how long they could ride a sheep. The winner each night was awarded a silver buckle.
