KELSEYVILLE— The 10th anniversary of the opening of the Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum is this weekend. Staff noted they have been working hard to present a day of old fashioned music, food and more.

On Saturday, the gates will open at 10 a.m. with dignitaries and founding members gathering at 1 p.m. to commemorate the occasion.

There will be hot dogs, root beer floats, demonstrations and displays of Lake County History with music and theatrical vignettes throughout the day.

Kids will be able to pan for “gold” watch the Smithy at the Blacksmith area, have their faces painted, explore old equipment and ride on a horse drawn wagon.

The gates will close at 3 p.m. to prepare for a farm to table dinner and Dave Stamey Concert at 5 p.m., benefitting the Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum.
