LAKE COUNTY >> Remember how you used to pay cash for North Coast Section playoff tickets at the gate? Those days are done.

The North Coast Section (NCS) is going cashless for the upcoming high school fall sports playoffs, which begin next week in volleyball, as it enters into a partnership with GoFan, its official digital ticketing partner.

According to NCS, the new ticketing policy allows a “safer and enhanced experience for students and fans while allowing the section to operate more efficiently prior to the playoff game and at the gate.”

Fans can buy tickets only by visiting the hosting school’s GoFan page and searching for the school at gofan.co. Spectators can conveniently purchase tickets through their smart phone using a web browser or the GoFan app. All major credit cards are accepted along with Apple Pay.

You can no longer pay with cash at the gate.

Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to reaching the facilty where the playoff contest is taking place. For your convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online purchase quickly and easily.
