Middletown’s Brandon Costlow eyes the basket during a 50-41 North Central League I junior varsity loss to Cloverdale on Thursday night in Middletown where the Mustangs dropped their first league game after three straight wins. Costlow led Middletown, 7-4 on the season, with 13 points. The Mustangs return to action Saturday at home against Fort Bragg at 1 p.m. The varsity girls follow at 2:30 p.m. and the varsity boys at 4 p.m. Including the Fort Bragg game, the Mustangs still have 12 league games remaining because of COVID-19 postponements this month. Middletown’s makeup games are against Kelseyville, Lower Lake and Roseland University Prep, which have yet to be scheduled. (Photos by Bob Minenna)
