Upper Lake senior shortstop Zoey Petrie prepares to field her position during a non-league softball game Monday afternoon against the Potter Valley Bearcats. The Cougars didn’t see much action in the field, but they saw plenty at the plate in a 17-0 victory in five innings. Upper Lake pounded out 19 hits in all, including a pair of home runs, while collecting its first victory of the 2022 season.
