LOWER LAKE — Max Hommer went 3-for-4 and winning pitcher Trey Broyles struck out five in 5 1/3 innings as the Kelseyville High School junior varsity baseball team beat the Lower Lake Trojans 8-0 in non-league action Friday afternoon at Lower Lake High School.
Broyles also went 2-for-3 for the Knights while Landon Johnson went 2-for-4. Alex Cabrera and Shane Poff also had hits for Kelseyville.
Johnson relieved Broyles in the sixth and worked the final 1 2/3 innings to complete the shutout. He struck out three.
