UPPER LAKE — Aly Aguirre hit a three-run home run to help the Konocti Rams beat the Upper Lake Wildcats 15-14 in middle school softball action Wednesday afternoon in Upper Lake.
Konocti, a team comprised of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade players, improved to 2-4 with the win. Aguirre had three hits in the win while teammate Heidi Ortega went 4-for-4 with a double and four runs scored.
Upper Lake also had a three-run home run in the game. Team statistics were not available.
Konocti is on the road again Thursday to play Lucerne Elementary at 4 p.m.
