CLEARLAKE OAKS — Brooklyn Tubbs went 3-for-3 with two doubles as Konocti Middle School beat Willits 15-4 in five innings during middle school softball action Wednesday afternoon at East Lake School in Clearlake Oaks.
The Rams also received strong efforts from their starting battery of pitcher Aly Aguirre and catcher Leanna Ortega while improving to 4-4 on the season. Aguirre retired 10 of 11 batters during one stretch and Ortega threw out two would-be basestealers at second base.
Konocti hosted Middletown on Thursday at East Lake School.
