Baron Chang, a sophomore at Middletown High School, and freshman teammate Bryan Sanchez finished one-two Wednesday afternoon during the Coastal Mountain Conference track and field pole vault finals at Fort Bragg High School. The CMC Championships for all other events takes place Saturday at St. Helena High School. Chang cleared 8 feet, 6 inches to win while Sanchez cleared 7 feet. In the girls pole vault finals, senior Ashlynn Johnson of Fort Bragg set a school record by clearing 9-2 while junior teammate Jenna Curti was second at 8-8.
