Clear Lake High School senior Zoey Pepper’s next stop is Mendocino College in Ukiah where she will continue her academic and athletic pursuits, the latter as a member of the Eagles’ women’s volleyball squad. Pepper made it official Thursday by signing her letter of intent. She had a great senior season for Clear Lake as an outside hitter, racking up 126 kills and earning All-County first-team honors for the Cardinals, who finished 20-6 overall and made it to the quarterfinals of the Division 5 playoffs. Pepper will be playing outside hitter and some back row for the Eagles. She plans to pursue a career in radiology. (Courtesy photos)
