Pairings set for junior golf tournament

29th annual Lake County Junior Championships tees off Wednesday

COBB — Cooper Johnson of Cobb, Christopher Camp of Los Osos and Bodhi Moore of Cobb will be the first three golfers off the tee Wednesday morning when the 29th annual Lake County Junior Golf Championship tees off at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.

This year’s Amateur field consists of 10 boys and one girl.

The Johnson, Camp and Moore trio tee off at 8 a.m. The foursome of Mickey Mullins of San Francisco, J.T. Allred of Hidden Valley Lake, Mason Harmon of Ontario and Brooke Hinchcliff of Lakeport follow at 8:10 a.m., and the day’s final pairing of Chase Allred of Hidden Valley Lake, Andy Zimmer of Cobb, Max Stine of Hidden Valley Lake and Caden Mullins of San Francisco tees off at 8:20 a.m.

Stine and Hinchcliff won the overall boys and girls championships Monday during the 30th annual Buckingham Junior Golf Championship at Buckingham Golf and Country Club.

Course marshals are Jack Lucich and Jerry Pendleton for the 8 a.m. group, Mike Owens and John Flynn for the 8:10 a.m. group, and Armond Urbano and Bob Norris for the 8:20 a.m. group.

Golfers will be treated to lunch following play before awards are handed out to flight winners and the overall boys and girls champions. Food is provided by Dennis Lyaton and Julie Berry.

Tournament sponsors are Eddie and Linda Mullins of Adams Springs Golf Club, John and Julie Berry, the Adams Springs Men’s Golf Club, the Adams Springs Women’s Golf Club, Deb Wallace, McQueen Construction and Konocti Realty.
