Celebrating good times at the Lake County Fair

The Second annual Guns and Hoses competition kicked off an entire weekend slate of events at the Lake County Fair. Attendees got to head over to the grandstands Thursday to cheer on their favorite women and men from local law enforcement agencies and fire crews in a fun competition. LAKE COUNTY— Following several years of the pandemic where a more streamlined virtual version occurred, the Lake County Fair returned in a grand scale to delight revelers during a blazing hot Labor Day Weekend. Grandstand entertainment included the second annual “Guns and Hoses” competition, Mudd Boggs, and the boat races, among other fun activities. A petting zoo, a family oasis, live music and entertainment Thursday through Sunday and free contests including a family style Karaoke were all part of the fun.
