LOWER LAKE — Jazzmyne John’s seven aces and solid defense helped propel the Konocti B team to a 25-15, 25-19 win over Mountain Vista in middle school volleyball action Wednesday night at Lower Lake High School.
Eden Sparks and Aurora Thacker added five aces apiece as Konocti improved to 7-1 in league play.
“Kelseyville came to play,” Konocti head coach Luis Perez said of the Mountain Vista team. “They’re a good team, they were hungry, but we came out on top.”
Konocti travels to Lakeport on Monday to play Terrace Middle School.
