LAKE COUNTY — All three of Middletown’s entries in the Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League are once again advancing to the playoffs following another successful regular season.

The league’s top four finishers in each division — pee wee, junior varsity and varsity — advance to the postseason tournament beginning Saturday at Willits and Fort Bragg high schools. Semifinal winners move on to the championship round Nov. 5 at Clear Lake High School in Lakeport.

In Saturday’s semifinal round at Willits High School, the Middletown and Lower Lake pee wee team play at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Willits-Lower Lake JVs at 5:30 p.m. and the Middletown-Sonoma varsity at 7:30 p.m.

In Saturday’s semifinal round at Fort Bragg High School, the Sonoma and Westshore pee wees play at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Middletown-Northshore JVs at 5:30 p.m. and the Kelseyville-Cloverdale varsity at 7:30 p.m.

On Nov. 5, the championship games take place at 3:30 p.m. (pee wee), 5:30 p.m. (JV) and 7:30 p.m. (varsity) in Lakeport.
