
LAKE COUNTY — Six Lake County high school volleyball players have been honored on the All-North Central League I first team as recently selected by the league’s coaches.
Undefeated league champion Roseland University Prep of Santa Rosa had the most selections with four, including most valuable player Netzach Hernandez-Diaz, a senior. Runner-up Clear Lake and third-place finisher Fort Bragg each landed three players on the team while Middletown (fourth), Cloverdale (fifth) and St. Helena (sixth) had two players honored, and Lower Lake and Willits one each. Kelseyville was shut out.
Earning first-team honors were Clear Lake seniors Sierra Bruch and Abby Mertle along with Fort Bragg junior Carmen Velazquez, Roseland University Prep seniors Yuri Hernandez, Vanessa Estrada and junior Isabel Ortiz.
Named to the second team were Clear Lake senior Stella Hill and Middletown seniors Jaidyn Brown and Skylar Williams. Joining them were Fort Bragg’s Maddie Triplett (senior) and Lemara Hendricks (sophomore), St. Helena senior Ella White and Cloverdale sophomore Camryn Donahoo.
Receiving honorable mentions were Lower Lake senior Avery Adamcyk, St. Helena senior Casey Baraz, Cloverdale senior Miriam Pulido and Willits senior Laila Britton.
