MIDDLETOWN — Brooklyn Tubbs scored 10 points and Leanna Ortega added seven more Monday night as the Konocti Middle School A girls basketball team defeated Middletown Middle School 35-21 at Middletown.
It was the season opener for the victorious Rams (1-0). Irianna Milano and Lily Milano scored six points apiece for Konocti.
The Rams hit the road Thursday to play Fort Bragg at 5:30 p.m.
