FORT BRAGG — Riley Givens and Olivia Paul scored in double figures as the Konocti Middle School B girls basketball team beat Fort Bragg 50-22 in league action Thursday night in Fort Bragg.
Givens led the way with 17 points and Paul added 12 points and six rebounds as the Rams improved to 3-0. Julisa Sevilla chipped in eight points, including two 3-pointers, and six assists.
“We played a great game after a long bus ride to Fort Bragg,” Konocti coach Luis Perez said. “Our defense had several takeaways that we were able to cash in. We were able to play hard for 30 minutes to keep up with Fort Bragg.”
Konocti returns to action Wednesday at home against Terrace Middle School at 4:30 p.m. The Rams play their home games at the Lower Lake High School gym.
