KELSEYVILLE — The Konocti Middle School A and B girls basketball teams recorded league wins Thursday night against Mountain Vista Middle School in Kelseyville.
Konocti won a 32-30 thriller in the A game as Aly Aguirre hit a late 3-pointer to put the Rams in front. After Mountain Vista closed to a point down the stretch, Brooklyn Tubbs hit a clutch free throw to preserve the win.
Lily Milano led Konocti with 10 points while Aguirre finished with nine and Tubbs had six.
Konocti led 20-10 at the half before Mountain Vista rallied in the second half.
In the B game, Konocti beat Mountain Vista 31-10 behind 11 points and 14 rebounds from Olivia Paul and a team-best 14 points from Riley Givens.
Konocti’s teams are off until Jan. 6 when they host Middletown Middle School. The B game tips off at 4:30 p.m. with the A game to follow at the Lower Lake High School gym.
