CHICO — The Lower Lake High School junior varsity girls basketball team went 1-2 over the weekend at the Pleasant Valley Tournament in Chico.
The Trojans beat Stagg (Stockton) 65-11 and lost to St. Mary’s (Stockton) 65-11 and Pleasant Valley 52-21 in their three games.
In the win over Stagg, Aliana Barnes led the way with 14 points while Alyxa Milano added 10 points, Brooke Benson nine and Jamiya Lee-Ayers eight.
Milano scored seven points in the loss to Pleasant Valley and was later named to the All-Tournament team.
Lower Lake takes a 5-4 record into the winter break. The Trojans return to action Jan. 3 when they resume their North Central League I schedule at Cloverdale.
