LUCERNE — Riley Givens scored 16 points and Darleen Benefield added 10 more as the Konocti Middle School B girls basketball team defeated Lucerne 43-14 on Monday in Lucerne.
“It was a whole team effort, everyone got to play,” Konocti head coach Luis Perez said.
The Rams improved to 5-1 in league play. There was no A game.
Both Konocti teams are in action Wednesday against Mountain Vista Middle School of Kelseyville at Lower Lake High School. The B game tips off at 4:30 p.m. with the A game to follow.
