LOWER LAKE — Olivia Paul’s 14 points were more than enough to carry the Konocti Middle School B girls basketball team to a 40-9 victory over Mountain Vista Middle School of Kelseyville during a league game Wednesday evening at Lower Lake High School.

“It was really a team effort,” Konocti head coach Luis Perez said. “We played really good defense. We forced four (30-second) shot clock violations. It was an overall team effort.”

The Rams improved to 6-1 in the league standings.

Julisa Sevella and Kaleigha Hernstedt scored six points apiece for Konocti.

Konocti is home Friday to play Fort Bragg in a non-league game at 4:30 p.m.
