LOWER LAKE — Olivia Paul’s double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds helped the Konocti Middle School B girls basketball team turn back Fort Bragg 30-18 in league action Friday evening at Lower Lake High School.
“It was a tough and physical game,” Konocti coach Luis Perez said.
The Rams, now 6-1 in league play and 7-1 overall, had to win without starter Riley Givens, who was pulled off the court because of an injury. Konocti’s bench stepped up and the Rams held Fort Bragg to a total of seven points in the second half.
“We pulled it together and got the job done,” Perez said.
Jazzmyne John added six points and seven rebounds in the win while Juliza Sevilla had five points, including a 3-pointer.
Konocti returns to action Wednesday against Terrace Middle School in Lakeport.
