ROHNERT PARK — Ten different Upper Lake players reached the scoring column, led by Taylar Minnis’ 22 points, as the Cougars battered Technology 84-13 in a North Central League II varsity girls basketball game Friday night in Rohnert Park.

Upper Lake is 4-0 in the NCL II standings and 15-1 overall.

“We’re continuing to pass the ball well and move it well,” Upper Lake head coach Annie Pivniska-Petrie said as the Cougars made quick work of the Titans.

Upper Lake led 27-6 after one quarter and 45-9 at halftime.

Heaven’Lee Loans Arrow joined Minnis in double digits with 15 points. Maddy Young added nine, Madison Noble and Jayme Zimmerchied had eight each, and Jordann Gudmundson seven.

The Cougars are home Monday to play Lower Lake in non-league action, part of a four-game set between the two schools. Junior varsity girls action tips off at 2 p.m, and the JV boys (3:30 p.m.), varsity girls (5 p.m.) and varsity boys (6:30 p.m.) follow.
