MIDDLETOWN — The Konocti Middle School A boys basketball dropped a 42-29 decision to the Middletown Middle School squad Friday night in Middletown.
It was the league opener for the Rams (0-1), who were led by Brody Shields’ six points.
The Konocti Middle School B boys basketball team also fell to Middletown, 41-14.
Jaydan Freeman’s eight points led the Rams (0-1).
Konocti’s B team hosts Lucerne on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Lower Lake High School. Konocti’s A team is off until it visits Mountain Vista Middle School in Kelseyville on Jan. 23. The B game starts at 4 p.m. with the A game to follow.
