LAKEPORT — Nolan Buffalo, JD Smart, Gael Moreno and Joey Portlock all scored in double digits for the Terrace Vikings B boys basketball team in a 56-22 non-league victory over Pomolita Middle School of Ukiah on Friday in Lakeport.
“We played a great game, jumped out to a 23-3 lead and never looked back,” Terrace coach Jeremy Hopkins said. “It was a total team effort and hopefully we can keep this momentum going forward next week.”
Buffalo led the Vikings (8-1) with 13 points while Smart, Moreno and Portlock all finished with 10.

At Lakeport, the Terrace A girls basketball team handed Pomolita Middle School of Ukiah its first loss in five seasons during a non-league game.
Anchoring a strong effort by the Terrace defense were Weylin Jozwiekowski, Ashlynn Cruz, Bethany Knight and Avery Fiske.
