The Kelseyville varsity boys and Middletown varsity girls travel to McKinleyville on Wednesday for a doublehealder of North Coast Section Division 4 first-round playoff games at McKinleyville High School. The Kelseyville boys tip off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Middletown girls at 7 p.m. It’s a rematch for both Lake County teams as they lost to McKinleyville earlier this season in highly competitive non-league/tournament games. Also heading north Wednesday are the Middletown varsity boys, who play in Arcata at 7 p.m. First-round winners advance to the quarterfinals Saturday. (File photos)
