CLHS physicals offered
LAKEPORT >> Physicals for all Lakeport Unified School District student-athletes will be administered on July 27 and again on Aug. 3 beginning at 6 p.m. both days at the Clear Lake High School gym.
You must take a physical before you are allowed to participate in practices for any fall sport. The cost is $20. Athletic packets are available at school offices during normal business hours.
Mandatory practices begin Aug. 7 and your physical paperwork must be on file before then.
UPPER LAKE
Summer practices begin Thursday
UPPER LAKE >> Upper Lake High School’s volleyball teams will hold voluntary summer practices beginning Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the school gym. The non-mandatory practices will take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until the official start of practice Aug. 7.
A volleyball camp will take place in early July as well. Contact varsity head coach Dani Paige Gudmundson at (361) 944-0485 for more information.
COBB
Junior golf championship is July 19
COBB >> The 30th annual Lake County Junior Golf Championship takes place July 19 at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain. The tournament is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10-17. There are various flights based on age.

The $15 entry fee includes golf, lunch, tee prizes and awards. This year’s tournament is sponsored by Eddie and Linda Mullins, Adams Springs Golf Club, the Adams Springs Women’s Golf club, and John and Julie Berry.
The entry deadline is July 15.
Cooper Johnson and Brooke Hinchcliff are the defending overall boys and girls champions.
Entry fees should be made payable to Adams Springs Junior Golf and mailed to John Berry, 1800 S. Main St. No. 48, Lakeport, CA, 95453. Payment must be received by 4 p.m. July 15.
Tee times are available July 17. Tee times on tournament day run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Older golfers play 18 holes while younger golfers play nine holes.
BUCKINGHAM
31st Buckingham Junior is July 24
BUCKINGHAM — The 31st annual Buckingham Junior Golf Championship takes place July 24 at Buckingham Golf and Country Club.
Sponsored by Buckingham Golf and Country Club, the Buckingham Niners, the Buckingham Tournament Players club and the Buckingham Women’s Golf club, the tournament is open to boys and girls ages 8-17. Players will be divided into several age divisions.
The entry fee is $15, which includes green fees, tee prizes, lunch and trophies.

KELSEYVILLE
Girls volleyball camp sign-ups open
KELSEYVILLE — The annual Kelseyville High School/Sonoma State University Volleyball Camp takes place July 31-Aug. 3 at the Kelseyville High School gym.
The camp is led by Sonoma State University women’s volleyball head coach Bear Grassl, who will be assisted by Kelseyville High School’s coaching staff.
Camp A for girls entering the fourth through eighth grades takes place 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. Check-in time is 11:15 a.m. The cost is $80.
Camp B for girls entering the ninth through 12th grades has two sessions each day of the camp – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $120.
Sign-up form are available at the Kelseyville High School office between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or check the Konocti Bay Club page on Facebook. Sign-ups will be accepted at the door on July 31 provided space is still available.

Tennis league meets Saturdays in K’ville
KELSEYVILLE — The Konocti Junior Tennis League meets Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Gard Street tennis courts in Kelseyville.
Racquets are provided. Juniors who would like to play and learn tennis are invited. There is no fee. Please bring your own water bottle.

Pickleball play at Gard Street courts
KELSEYVILLE >> The Lake County Tennis Association hosts pickleball play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Gard Street tennis and pickleball courts in Kelseyville.
Anyone interested in playing or learning the game of pickleball is encouraged to attend. Paddles are provided. Tennis open play is Monday and Friday beginning at 9 a.m.

Mendo College offering volleyball camps
UKIAH >> Mendocino College is offering middle school and high school volleyball camps in early August at the Ukiah campus.
The middle school camp for incoming sixth- through eighth-graders takes place Aug. 1-3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. The high school camp for incoming ninth- through 12th-graders takes place from Aug. 8-10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The cost is $150 if you pre-register or $175 at the door. Registration opens Thursday.
