Warnings about flooding and high rivers have been issued in California’s Central Valley, including one evacuation order.

Merced County

Details and updates at sheriff’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

• Evacuation warning in the area of George Hatfield recreation area, near Newman. Sheriff Vern Warnke confirmed on April 13 that this remained in effect.

• Closure of recreational access to the Merced and San Joaquin rivers in Merced County.

Fresno County

Details and updates at the county evacuation map.

• Evacuation warning along the Kings River east of Sanger.

Tulare County

Details and updates at the sheriff’s Facebook page. Sheriff Mike Boudreaux lifted several evacuation orders this week. Those that remain in effect:

• Evacuation order west of Highway 43 south of Corcoran.

• Evacuation warnings for Alpaugh/Allensworth, Ponderosa, Pine Flat, the Kern River near Johnsondale, the Tule River near Porterville, and the Kings River near Kingsburg.

• Closure of recreational access to the Kings and St. John’s rivers in Tulare County.
