LUCERNE — Grace Hobbs went 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs as the Mountain Vista Middle School softball team beat Lucerne 20-7 on Thursday afternoon in Lucerne.
The Lancers banged out 13 hits during the four-inning game.
Along with Hobbs, Brooke Poff and a 3-for-3 day at the plate and Meghan Renfro went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Also for Mountain Vista, Josie Keithly had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs.
Mountain Vista returns to action Monday in Upper Lake at 4 p.m.
