HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — The Middletown High School tennis team closed out its regular-season schedule with a 3-2 Coastal Mountain Conference victory over Anderson Valley on Tuesday afternoon at the Hidden Valley Lake courts.
Because Anderson Valley arrived late for the match, the teams agreed to play eight-game pro sets instead of the traditional best-two-out-of-three set format.
Middletown picked up wins in first singles where Nadav Dicovski prevailed 8-3; in first doubles where Anthony Lopez and Will Hoskins won 8-4; and in second doubles by forfeit.
In other matches, Calista Hoskins fell 9-7 in second singles while Hannah Ryan fell 8-5 in third singles.
Middletown will participate in the CMC Championships beginning Friday at 8 a.m at Galvan Park in Santa Rosa.
