Lake County’s top high school coaches in 2022-23? There were certainly no shortage of candidates as several head coaches put their best foot forward while leading their teams to successful campaigns in boys and girls sports. One of those coaches is Clear Lake varsity football head coach Mark Cory, who led the Cardinals to a school-record 12-2 mark that included league and section titles and a berth in the NorCal playoffs, a first for Lake County.
