LAKEPORT — The boat races return to the Lakeport Speedway on Saturday night following a racing card that includes the modifieds, Legends, bombers and West Coast mini-modifieds on the quarter-mile paved oval located at the Lake County Fairgrounds on Martin Street in Lakeport.
Grandstands open at 5 p.m. and racing action begins at 7 p.m. General admission is $15 while senior citizens (age 55 and older), military personnel and children ages 4-12 pay $15. Kids ages 3 and younger get in free.
The North State Modified Series visits the Lakeport Speedway the following weekend (July 22) as part of a racing card that features the Legends, bombers and Pro-4 modifieds.

Kart racing
The Lakeport Speedway’s kart track opens Sunday and will host a test and tune session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Divisions include beginner box stocks, box stocks, 250s, sportsman, clones and open.
