CLEARLAKE— The annual National Night out event culminates annually the first Tuesday in August. The national community building campaign between law enforcement and the public was held locally in Clearlake. The event on Aug. 1 saw hundreds of the Clearlake community show up at Austin Park Splash Pad in Clearlake. The Clearlake Police Dept. and other agencies were this year’s hosts. They served barbecue, hot dogs and hamburgers and cold drinks to members of the community who came to meet members of the different agencies.
